Why coach with me?
Why work with me
Hello, I am Anna,
I am a Certified Professional Coach. My training was with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and I have over 15 years experience.
Ongoing self-development is paramount to me.
I lead a compassionate and safe session. My aim is to help you feel comfortable whilst exploring your fears and concerns yet you can also trust me to challenge you when necessary. We will get to the root of the difficulty and help you find your way through and beyond it. I serve as the stone in the shoe, in service of your pearl.
As a heartful coach, I create space to connect and listen deep within; it’s well known that our gut is our biggest brain. I provide a safe and confidential, non-judgemental space where you can access your resourcefulness and think out of the box.
I will help you discover your strengths and motivations, and find new perspectives. With clarity and thoughtfulness, I will help you find the quiet space needed to hear yourself think, stay by your side in the uncomfortable moments, help you heal from what is holding you back, challenge you to do things you never thought were possible, and get creative in finding solutions that work.
Sometimes we may have experienced difficult moments in our lives that hold us back.
I offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) or the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to help you move through them and access energy and zest for life you didn’t know you had.
A balance between the spiritual, physical and mental realms requires mindfulness, which is a tool I use.
I run my life coaching business from my own-built and designed eco-home near Pau in the Pyrenees, South West France, where I live with my husband and daughter.
My sessions take place either on-line or in my office, overlooking the stunning beauty of the mountains.
I am bi-lingual and coach in both English and French.
Learn more about my journey to becoming your life coach
My own background was a challenging mix of cultural and class diversity that gave me a wide life education from an early age. I have travelled and worked overseas, which has given me first-hand knowledge and experience of many different ways of life. After obtaining a Geology Degree from Bristol University, with foundation studies in Psychology and Zoologly, I made a conscious decision to change direction as full-time office style life was not for me.
I realised that I was more drawn to designing, creating and working outdoors.
I took up roles working with disadvantaged youths and on City Farms and subsequently trained as a carpenter.
After several years as a carpenter, I started teaching women to build. It was here that I discovered my passion for coaching, empowering people with little experience or self-belief, to build their own homes.
This led to a number of roles and projects within the therapeutic & counselling arena whilst allowing me to balance my carpentry business alongside.
I later decided to follow my passion and train as a coach which I now practise from the tranquility of the Pyrennees.
